SPY Youth Leadership is an opportunity for young people to use special skills and abilities for service in Youth Ministry. It is also an opportunity for an introductory look into the area of ministry in general. Ultimately, the SPY Youth Leadership Team is designed to enhance the overall Youth Ministry and to impact youth for the cause of Christ. Your involvement in the SPY Youth Leadership Team will allow Youth Ministry to accomplish things we could not do without you. Our desire is that you will take on this ministry as your own and commit yourself completely to the work and ministry God has given you.

Responsibilities:

   + Function as a co-worker and disciple under the Youth Minister to gain experience in each aspect of the ministry. A

   + ttend a weekly meeting with the SPY Youth Ministry Team for study, equipping, evaluation and planning in ministry.

   + Develop a ministry understanding: planning events, budgeting, delegation, vision, communication, studying and teaching.

   + Carry out any activities or ministries as assigned by the youth minister.

   + Accomplish various behind-the-scenes work like phone calls, paperwork, letters, copying, etc.

   + Involve yourself in maintaining the discipline policy

   + Attend all events and activities of the SPY youth ministry as able

   + Be in regular attendance at Sunday Mass

   + Agree and submit to the leadership guidelines and expectations

   + Keep a weekly journal of your ministry schedule and ministry thoughts.

   + Help recruit active membership in SPY youth ministry Model maturity and Christ-centered discipleship
