INFANT BAPTISM
Saint Pius V has guidelines in the form of a pamphlet which is given to every parent and godparent as they prepare to have their baby baptized. This pamphlet includes provisions from the Code of Canon Law, the Rite of Baptism and parish/diocesan guidelines.
It is the mission of each Catholic parish to provide a preparation course for parents and godparents who wish to have their infant baptized. (C851.2) This is a great opportunity for adult education as well as a time remind us of our own Baptismal commtment. In this joyous occasion of the Baptism of a young life, we may also, renew our commitment to faith and parish.
